Lincoln-Way North Cheerleading Finishes Fourth in State

Lincoln-Way North cheerleading put in strong performances this weekend, to finish in fourth place in the2015 IHSA Large Division Cheerleading State competition.

The Phoenix went into the finals after an impressive performance in the prelims, wrapping up Friday in fourth place, behind Sandburg in third, Lockport in second, and Lincoln-Way East in first. The Phoenix came out strong Saturday, with a finals performance that scored them a 90.93, earning them fourth place overall.

Orland Park’s Sandburg High School also finished in the top 10 in the state, with an 88.27 to land them sixth place.
