Lincoln-Way North Supporters Petition to Save School
Online petition circulating to get the attention of local leaders.

Lincoln-Way North supporters have started an online petition to keep the school open.
Addressed to Mayors Dave Seaman, Jim Holland and Frank Fleischer, petitioners ask that the leaders attend the July 16 District 210 Board of Education meeting to speak out on behalf of the school. The school—one of the district’s newest additions and currently not operating at full capacity—is believed to be on the board’s chopping block as a way to improve its dire financial status.

As of Friday, the petition has more than 1,900 signatures.
We respectfully ask the powers that be, who they are looking out for: real people, real businesses, real students, real property values or projected people, businesses, students, and property values? The closing North option is not a reasonable or fair option and would disrupt the lives and financial well being of more families, students, business owners than any other area in the district.
