The man was targeted in an investigation by Kankakee and Will County authorities. He faces eight charges of child pornography.

A 36-year-old man found living in ’squalor’ with a 13-year-old faces child porn charges, after an investigation turned up images on his computers and other electronic devices.
Mark V. McKune, 36, of Bourbonnais, was charged this week with eight counts of child pornography in Kankakee County Circuit Court, according to a statement from the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Kankakee police called Will County’s High Technology Crimes Unit, for help with an investigation into the downloading of child pornography, prosecutors said. When authorities showed up at McKune’s house in the 0-100 block of Bonds Avenue in Bourbonnais, they found the man and teen living in “squalid” conditions. The house was later determined uninhabitable, NBC reports.
