Matteson- Library & Community Center host 5K

Runners and walkers of all ages, are invited to participate in the Matteson 5K Dash for Literacy. The Dash for Literacy is a Fun Run/Walk organized by the Matteson Area Public Library and the Matteson Community Center. Refreshments will be available. Use this 5K to train for your next run or walk. You can also register at the Matteson Area Public Library or Matteson Community Center. Check-In is at the Matteson Community Center’s back parking lot. Register by June 29 to get a free T-shirt with your registration. Packet pick-up will be at the Community Center on July 12 and July 13.

Donate school supplies or a new or gently used picture book for District 159 and 162 and get $5 off an adult or teen entry fee, 1 discount per person.

Sculpted Yoga with Kesha on Thursdays @ 7pm

This upbeat and energetic form of yoga builds upon the 5 grounding yoga poses by incorporating the option to utilize light hand weights and cardio bursts which are beneficial for maximum circulation, flexibility and optimal calorie burning effect! If you want to step it up a notch bring 3-5 pound weights.
