TINLEY PARK, IL — Rene Paul Beauchamp, 67, of Tinley Park, died suddenly on March 31. Born on April 6, 1957, in Harvey, Illinois, Rene lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, humor, and a deep love for his friends and family.
Rene enjoyed fishing, being on the water, and most of all, having a project to work on. He was always busy fixing, building, or improving something not only in his house but also for all those around him.
A proud Eagle Scout himself, Rene dedicated many years to the Boy Scouts of America as a Cubmaster and Scoutmaster, guiding both of his sons as they both earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He later enjoyed attending Scout events with his grandson, where he became affectionately known as “Grandpa.” He was always willing to lend a hand, offer advice, or share a story.
