Missing White Sox Tix Turn Up In Motel Dumpster
The motel housekeeper called her manager a liar and stormed off when he asked her about it, police said.

TINLEY PARK, IL— A guest at the Hampton Inn left an envelope containing White Sox tickets on his motel room bed Saturday night and when he returned the following the morning, they were missing, police said.
The 37-year-old man said that not only were his tickets missing, but the bed was made and the trash taken out.
The man told a police officer “no other property was missing and no other subject had a key to his room,” according to a report.

The guest of the North Creek Drive motel alerted the manager, police said, and the manager “confronted the housekeeper” who had cleaned the room. The housekeeper reportedly called the manager a “liar and stormed off before her shift ended.”
The guest then decided to “check the Hampton Inn dumpster to make sure the tickets were not accidentally thrown away,” police said, and he found them there among the trash.
