Missing Woman Located After Alert By Tinley Park Police

The woman was found around 2:15 p.m. Saturday, two hours after Tinley Park police asked for the public's help locating her.

Update: Carol McClinton was located safe around 2:15 p.m. Saturday, police said.


TINLEY PARK, IL — Police are asking for the public's help locating a missing woman with dementia.

Carol McClinton, 62, last spoke with her family on Friday around 2 p.m., Tinley Park police said in a news release. She was later spotted at McDonald’s, 15920 S. Harlem, around 9 a.m. Saturday.

Police said McClinton was carrying a large green bag and wearing a purple head scarf, a light-colored shirt, dark leggings and pink shoes. She is known to frequent Tinley and Orland Park area businesses.

McClinton travels via public transportation and has no access to a car, police said.
