Richton Park, Ill. – Rolling back into town is the ninth annual NCAA Women’s Crusader Classic Bowling tournament being held at Lakewood Bowl & Grill in Richton Park for the second year, February 9 – 11, 2018.

This NCAA sanctioned women’s tournament hosted by Valparaiso University boasting of 14 teams throughout the U.S. is ready for competition. “Being able to acquire such a venue so close to home, yet centrally located is great for Valparaiso University Athletics. We are pleased with the exposure the Chicago Southland Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Village of Richton Park brought to the NCAA collegiate bowling last year,” said Shon Washington, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Valparaiso University. “We encourage the public to join us at Lakewood Bowl & Grill to support these collegiate athletes as they represent their prospective schools in a friendly-fun competition.”
Richton Park Village President, Rick Reinbold, stated “Last year’s event was a complete success which set the stage for this ongoing partnership for Richton Park and the Chicago Southland.” “The geographic location along with hotels, restaurants, attractions, shopping and major expressways is perfect for travelers from many different states, just another reason why the Chicago Southland is a perfect fit for any event.”
