Orland Park Couple Wins Lexus Champions for Charity Raffle

St. Coletta’s of Illinois Foundation would like to congratulate Pam and Peter Glanvill of Orland Park for winning the Lexus Champions for Charity Raffle at the 29th Annual Kennedy Golf Invitational hosted by St. Coletta’s of Illinois Foundation on August 13, 2018. The event took place at Crystal Tree Golf and Country Club in Orland Park.

Guests were able to purchase tickets throughout the event and through the evening in the hopes of winning a once-in-a-lifetime experience to golf at Pebble Beach Resorts in Pebble Beach, California and the chance to be pampered.

The prize includes the opportunity to play at Pebble Beach Golf Links, The Links at Spanish Bay and Spyglass Hill Golf Course in December. While representing St. Coletta’s of Illinois, the Glanvill’s will compete in a 54-hole, three-day event for a $100,000 charity purse that will be divided between the first through tenth place net finishers’ charities and first through fifth place gross finishers’ charities. The hospitality package includes all meals, transportation between the airport and Pebble Beach resorts and transportation between tournament sites.

A record number of tickets were sold to bring in over $17,000 in raffle sales. The overall event raised more than $100,000 for the adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities served by St. Coletta’s of Illinois.

To date, Lexus Champions for Charity has helped raise over $390 million for charity and has sponsored over 4,900 events since its inception in 1989.

In addition to the generous support shown by attendees, the 29th Annual Kennedy Golf Invitational was made possible with the support of a very engaged golf committee and generous sponsors. The 2018 Golf Committee consists of Chairman Bill Rybak, Lizzy Coghill, Jeff Kowalis, Dave Langevin, Kathy Langevin, Dan Michalak, Marilyn Nero, Andrea Ramirez-Justin, Tom Shirey and Ed Wood.
