Orland Park Police Track Down Teenage Runaway

The Orland Park police tracked down a teenage runaway who was missing for more than a month.

Hailey Schwartz, 17, was found about 11 a.m. Tuesday at a house in Country Club Hills. She was alone, safe and healthy, police said.

Hailey’s family last saw her Jan. 5. Her family reportedly told the police she “packed a bag with clothing and personal possessions and exited their Orland Park home via a first-floor window.”

Hailey’s family was “in the process of moving out of state and ... Hailey was resistant to the move,” police said.

Detectives determined that “Hailey was missing voluntarily.”
