Oyster Fest at Tribes

Tribes Alehouse & Beer Company is excited to host its 3rd Annual Oyster Fest at its Tinley Park location! Owner Niall Freyne was born in Galway, Ireland, home of the world’s oldest oyster fest: the Galway Oyster & Seafood Fest and he has brought this proud tradition to Chicagoland. Fresh oysters are flown in from the east and west coasts each day to ensure that only the fastest coldwater oysters are served. Freyne chooses eight different varieties to satisfy all oyster-loving taste buds. Throughout the event, a raw bar is at the front of the restaurant and guests can choose their oysters (between $2.25-3.25 a piece depending on the variety, available ala carte, no minimum or maximum) and have their order zip-lined to be shucked on the spot by the Tribes crew. Homemade mignonette sauce (a traditional, spice sauce made with shallots and vinegar) will be served with every order.
