Palumbo Family Foundation Presents $7,500 to St. Coletta's

The Palumubo Family Foundation presents St. Coletta's of Illinois with a check for $7,500 from proceeds raised at Trivia Night.

Tinley Park, Illinois - Greg and Mike Palumbo from The Palumbo Family Foundation presented St. Coletta’s of Illinois with a check for $7,500 from recent fundraising efforts at their Third Annual Trivia Night.

The Palumbo Family Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, was established in 2015 to identify and provide support for Chicagoland South and Southwest Suburban organizations. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event benefitted two area charitable organizations: St. Coletta’s of Illinois and South Suburban Special Recreation Association (SSSRA).

Their special event has grown from its first year and brought in over 170 people who were eager to test their trivia knowledge. St. Coletta’s Crossing Corner’s Bakery sold baked goods made by students enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program. Raffle tickets were sold throughout the night to win some fabulous prizes and guests could bid on a silent auction. Each team consisted of six to eight people who were given the opportunity to decorate their tables for a chance to win an additional prize. When stumped on a question, teams could purchase Mulligans.

To accommodate its growth, a sound system and two additional TV’s were brought in to ensure that everyone could see and hear the questions and answers.

“The event was a great success,” said Greg Palumbo. “We could not have been happier with how it turned out.” Next year’s Trivia Night will take place in June.
