Children had fun during Shipwrecked vacation bible school this past week.
They were dancing in the aisles.
Singing Running For You, led by Andrew Denlinger, Trinity Modern Worship leader, Ethan Gerald VBS Group Leader, Shirley Kurasz and over two hundred kids enjoyed Vacation Bible School at Trinity Lutheran.
“Shipwrecked” VBS was held June 25-29 at the church in Tinley Park. Besides singing, the children prayed, heard bible stories, played games and made crafts each day.

Lisa Redmond, Director of Children's Ministries was happy to organize her third VBS this year.
"VBS has been wonderful this year" said Redmond. " We were very successful at Community Outreach this year. We had so many children come, who are from the surrounding community. It is a blessing to be able to teach them about Jesus."

Redmond had a mission for the children to collect coins for Water For Tanzania, which builds wells in that country.
Trinity Lutheran teachers, Barbara Chin and Alan Berg as well as Trinity Lutheran bookkeeper Cecile Fortin and her children volunteered their time for the week. Over fifty volunteers, including teens and college students volunteered as well.
On Sunday, July 1st, children from VBS will be singing at the Trinity Reveal service at 11:00 AM which is open to the public.
