Plant Market Back At Tinley Park Brewery, Dozens Of Vendors Lined Up
Live plants, air plants, succulents available for purchase at Soundgrowler Brewing April 6. Plant-themed art and crafts also featured.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Plant lovers will have a chance to indulge their green thumbs with a special market returning to a Tinley Park brewery.
The second annual Plant Market is back at Soundgrowler Brewing, 8201 183rd St., on Saturday, April 6 from 12 to 5 p.m. The free-to-attend event welcomes all ages and promises plenty of local artists, makers, and plant vendors. The market will feature live plants, local art, handmade goods, craft beer, and tacos. Parking is available on-site and nearby.
With just over four dozen artists and vendors confirmed, attendees can expect a variety of creations and goods. Live plants, air plants, succulents, and plant-themed items will be available for purchase. The event will also feature apparel, art, candles, crocheted items, and more. The Plant Market will showcase the diverse talents of the Streetz Artz Alliance and local creative community.

Notable plant vendors include Root House Social, offering an array of houseplants and planters. SNJ Terrariums specializes in bioactive terrariums and supplies, while Kathleen Plant Bar LLC provides an assortment of plant accessories. Sunbeam Air Plants offers a curated selection of air plants and original displays. Rosie's Plant Care, Plants N Stones, and Buena Vibra Plant Shop will cover a diverse range of offerings including macramé plant hangers, plant care spray, soil, gems, minerals, cacti, succulents, and propagations.

Attendees can browse a wide range of art pieces and items supporting plant themes. Gigawatt Coffee Roasters will offer coffee chaff, an excellent fertilizer for plants and gardens, for sale at the market. Nube Noche will be selling paper craft roses and plant-themed stickers, while Gratefully Dreaming creates nature inspired copper electro-formed jewelry that often features real plants and fungi preserved beneath copper.

The event is organized by the Streetz Artz Alliance. The alliance is a group of 350 artists and crafters from across the Chicago suburbs, NW Indiana and southern Wisconsin who participate in markets all over the area. The group is dedicated to promoting local artists and fostering community engagement through art-centric events.
John E. Streetz, head of the Alliance and event curator, shared his enthusiasm for the lineup, noting the return of favorites and debut of newcomers.

"I'm ecstatic with the possibilities for this event," said Streetz. "We've curated a fresh mix of artists and vendors, ensuring a vibrant and engaging experience for all attendees.
"Streetz Artz Alliance favorites like KP's Candy Favorites, Quinncakes by George, Belonio Doodles and Ten Cups Tarot will all be here too!"
Carisa Orlicz, owner of market participant Ursula Naturals said she's excited for the event.
"I always love bringing my natural, plant-based bath, body, and self-care line to Soundgrowler," Orlicz said.
