TINLEY PARK, IL — Plants, tacos, and craft beer come together this Saturday as the Spring Equinox Market returns to Soundgrowler Brewing in Tinley Park.

The free, family-friendly event runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and features one of the largest and most diverse plant-focused lineups the Streetz Artz Alliance has brought together to date.

Hosted at Soundgrowler Brewing, located at 8201 183rd St., Suite P, the market will feature 52 artists and vendors set up both inside the brewery and outdoors in the beer garden. The event blends a strong plant and seed focus with the signature variety patrons have come to expect, including handmade goods, coffee, pickles, tarot, jewelry, vinyl, and spring-inspired decor.

"The plant-themed market at Soundgrowler is always one of our biggest and most exciting shows of the year," said John Streetz, organizer of the event and founder of the Streetz Artz Alliance. "Soundgrowler is one of our most popular venues with great tacos, amazing service, and a relaxed atmosphere. There’s a lot of excitement from both the artists and the community heading into this weekend."

The market places a strong emphasis on plant culture, with more than 20 dedicated plant vendors offering houseplants, succulents, cacti, seeds, propagation supplies, and plant care products. Returning favorites and new vendors alike bring a wide range of styles, from rare and collector plants to accessible options for beginners.

Among the featured vendors, Stargirl Designs creates botanical resin jewelry and home decor using real flowers grown and pressed by the artist. I Just Wet My Plants specializes in air plants, succulents, and unique propagated varieties, while Sippin’ with Succulents offers an interactive succulent bar where guests can build their own arrangements. Rosie’s Plant Care provides organic plant care sprays designed to clean leaves and naturally repel pests.

The Daydreamers Shop brings floral home goods, candles, and seeds, while Musing Scapes offers living bioactive terrariums, waterfalls, and darker-themed dioramas. Plant Bar Chi, a returning favorite at this event, combines plants with decorative elements like crystals and minerals, continuing a strong presence at Soundgrowler markets over the years.

Beyond plants, the market highlights the creative depth of the local maker community. Adara Selene Creations features an eclectic mix of jewelry, apparel, fiber art, and plant decor rooted in personal expression and resilience. Ursula Naturals, founded by local herbalist and yoga instructor Carisa Orlicz, offers handcrafted, vegan bath and body products made with high-quality, responsibly sourced ingredients.

Several vendors will also be making their Soundgrowler debut, including Big Shoulders Nursery, a south suburban greenhouse specializing in anthuriums, hoyas, and other collector plants, and Leaf Vine Node, a botanical shop known for its rare plants and dark, apothecary-inspired aesthetic. Honey Pots and Props will also be featured, highlighting their plant therapy workshops that promote the mental health benefits of working with plants.

The event is designed to be accessible and comfortable for guests, with a large parking lot available for easy access. While the market is scheduled to take place rain or shine, contingency plans are in place for severe weather. If conditions become unsafe, outdoor vendors will be moved indoors into Soundgrowler’s back brewery space, an area regularly used during winter markets and past weather-related adjustments.

With a carefully curated mix of plant life, handmade goods, and community-driven energy, the Spring Equinox Market continues to grow as one of the most anticipated seasonal events in the south suburbs.

The event is free to attend and open to all ages. Guests are encouraged to bring friends, explore the vendor lineup, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of sipping and shopping at one of Tinley Park’s favorite brewery destinations.
