Minors Spotted Starting Fire

Two juveniles were witnessed at 7 p.m. Tuesday trying to start a fire at the drive-up window of a restaurant on the 17600 block of Oak Park Avenue, Tinley Park police said. Officers found burnt wood on the scene, police said.

Rock Breaks Window

Someone threw a large rock through the window of a Tinley Park home at about 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, police said. The homeowners were woken by the sound of breaking glass and found a 56-by-18 inch bay window had been smashed, Tinley Park police said.
