'Pumpkin Plunge' Debuts This Weekend At Tinley Fitness

TINLEY PARK, IL — A "Pumpkin Plunge" event has been added to the Tinley Park-Park District's schedule for the first time this year. The Halloween-themed event will run from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27 at the indoor pool at Tinley Fitness, 8125 W. 171st St.

“We want to offer unique and exciting programs for families to enjoy outside of the usual Halloween events," Tinley Park-Park District Marketing Manager Carol Bradtke said.

Families can enjoy a spooky afternoon filled with mysterious music, ghostly games, boo-tiful treat bags and plunging into the pumpkin patch pool to pick a pumpkin to take home, according to a news release from the Park District.

Registration is required. Register at the Bettenhausen Rec Center or online at www.tinleyparkdistrict.org for Program #312113A. The fee is $18 for all children and $5 for adults who are not Tinley Fitness members. There is no charge for members.
