Registration is Now Open for Matteson Area Public Library’s Third Annual 5K Costume Dash for Literacy

Runners and walkers are invited to participate in our Matteson Area Library 5-K Costume Dash for Literacy. The 5K race and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will be on Saturday, Sept 30, 2017. Costumes are optional.

Participants will enjoy a scenic course on the Old Plank Road Trail beginning and ending behind the Target Store at 4647 Promenade Way, Matteson, IL 60443, roughly 1/2 mile south of US Rt. 30 on the east side of Cicero Ave.

Proceeds will benefit our library's plans for programming and patron enhancement.

Donate a new or gently used picture book to benefit the preschool programs in Districts 162 and 159 and get $3 off an adult or teen entry fee!

The Adults/Teens 5K run begins at 9:30 a.m., and will be followed by the Kids mile fun run/walk starting at 11:15 a.m.

Location: Target Store located east of Cicero Ave (Rte. 50) at 4647 Promenade Way, Matteson, IL 60443

Kids Ages 5-12- $10.00

(Children 4 & under free with registered Adult)
