Roses and Vases Stolen Off Gravestone in Tinley Park Cemetery

A heartless thief stole two vases full of roses off of a gravestone in Tinley Park Memorial Cemetery.

An 87-year-old man placed the vases of roses on his wife’s gravestone for her birthday. The man saw the vases and roses were still there 10 days later, but two days after that he was “notified by his son that the vases were no longer on the gravestone,” police said.

The vases and roses were worth about $75, police said.
