Oak Forest, IL, June 3, 2016 -- An Oak Forest woman swiped another woman’s purse and then went on a shopping spree at Walmart using the stolen credit cards, prosecutors said.

According to the charges, Fedro removed the purse from a home in the 15600 block of Lavergne Avenue, Oak Forest, on May 29.
The prosecutor said the purse contained a cell phone and assorted credit and debit cards. Fedro then used the woman’s credit cards to make four transactions at Walmart.

The assistant public defender told the judge that Fedro is a graduate of Oak Forest High School and the mother of a child.
“Do you know what I find disgusting about this,” Judge Felice said. “I’m reading on [the pre-trial report] that her mother can’t be in court because the defendant’s child has a school program. Her mother has to stand in.”
Judge Felice set bail at $10,000. Fedro is due back in court June 21 in Bridgeview.
