For over a decade, families, schools, and community groups have come here to create memories, celebrate milestones, and find peace through art. Thanks to Community Support, just a few weeks ago, we were preparing to close our doors on December 23. It was a difficult decision after pouring our hearts into building a creative space for families, children, artists, and neighbors to gather, create, and connect. But something beautiful happened. Our community showed up. Through encouragement, continued bookings, kind words, and steady support, we were reminded why Mucci World exists in the first place — not just as a business, but as a place of joy, creativity, and togetherness. Because of you, we are staying open. Mucci World has always been about more than pottery and paint. It’s a peaceful, creative sanctuary where people of all ages can slow down, unplug, and make lasting memories. From pottery and painting classes to birthday parties, vendor markets, homeschool programs, and special events, this space has become a home for creativity for everyone. PALOS HILLS, IL -- A Palos Hills man was arrested after he was determined to be the combatant in a fight, reports said. Mohieb Ghnaimat, 20, was charged with battery. Palos Hills police officers went to the 10200 block of 81st Court around 3 p.m. June 27 for a battery complaint. According to the report, the people involved gave conflicting stories. After further investigation, police determined that Ghnaimat allegedly punched his friend in the face several times and hit him with an unknown type of mallet. Ghnaimat has an Aug. 2 court date in Bridgeview.

Join us at our free kick off America250 celebration at the Red, White &amp; Blue BBQ Fest and Parade featuring a community parade, amateur rib cook-off, children's activities, live entertainment and food trucks. The celebration will culminate with a spectacular fireworks show.
<h4>PARADE/KIDS ACTIVITIES</h4>
The parade steps off at 10am from Jillian Road and Park Station Blvd and travels along Park Station Blvd in Orland Park to the finish near Centennial Park West. Free children's activities including crafts, bounce houses, contests, and DJ will follow at the Centennial Park West concert venue after the parade concludes through 1pm.

<h4>BBQ RIB COOK-OFF COMPETITION</h4>
The public rib tasting will begin at 3:30pm for the Amateur Rib Cook-Off. Tickets sales open at 3pm for $1 per sample/rib (available while supplies last) and include a vote for the People's Choice Award. Enjoy a variety of rib tastings from our 14 amateur rib cook off contestants. Cash/credit card and apply pay are accepted.
<h4>FOOD/DRINK VENDORS</h4>
The Orland Park Lions Club will be selling beer, wine and seltzers and on-site food and drink trucks/vendors will be selling a variety of delicious refreshments from 2-9:30pm and will highlight a special America250 deal/item in honor of this America250 kick-off event! An ATM will be available onsite, and most vendors accept cash or credit card.
<h4>ENTERTAINMENT</h4>
Live stage entertainment will feature Cadillac Groove (R&amp;B and Funk) from 2-4pm followed by Nashville Nation (Country) from 4:30-6:30pm and headliner Tramps Like Us (Bruce Springsteen Tribute) from 7-9pm. The evening closing ceremony and pyro-musical fireworks show is scheduled from 9 - 9:30 p.m.
<h4>PARKING</h4>
Free parking is available in the Metra station parking lot located north of Jillian Rd. and Park Station Blvd. Additional over-flow event parking is located in the 153rd St. Metra Parking lot east of the train tracks at 10499 W 153rd St, Orland Park, Il 60462 and Centennial Park parking lots (15600 West Ave, Orland Park IL 60462). After parking, head west to the Metra underpass and south to event grounds (apprx .4miles). There is ADA reserved parking available in the east section of the Metra West parking lot. Please take note, the venue is approximately .2 miles from the lot.
