Shooting Reported On I-80 Near Mokena: Police
No one was injured in the shooting, which happened Monday night, police said.
MOKENA, IL — The Illinois State Police are investigating a reported shooting, which happened on I-80 near Mokena on Monday night. Police said they responded to I-80 eastbound near La Grange Road at 9:02 p.m. Monday.
The three people in the vehicle involved in the shooting did not have any injuries, police said.
The incident and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, according to police. Anyone who witnessed the shooting or has any knowledge of the shooting is asked to contact the ISP Zone 3 Investigations at 815-726-6377. Callers can remain anonymous.
