School Districts Warn of Suspicious Pickup Truck in Area

Area parents were warned of a suspicious vehicle and driver seen in Orland Park Tuesday.

The older pickup truck was seen in the vicinity of the 8900 block of Wheeler Drive.

While this was originally reported in relation to District 135 students, District 230 shared the information as a precautionary measure for it families. The vehicle is described as an older beige or tan Chevy S10 pickup truck with paint covering rust on the driver’s door.

The driver is described as an older white male with dark hair, wearing a red baseball cap, glasses and smoking a cigarette. If you have any information please contact the Orland Park Police Department at 349-4111 or dial 911.
