Share Your South Suburban Fish Fry 2017

If your Catholic church, group or business is operating one this year, here's how you can let us know.

The start of Lent is less than two weeks away, with Ash Wednesday being held on March 1 this year. So it's time to start thinking fish and all the fish frys sure to be held on the south suburbs of Chicago during the upcoming Lenten season.

If your church or group is operating one this year, please fill out this form with the details. We’ll compile the list of frys that we get and make sure that information is available to our readers throughout the season.

An Associated Press article published in USA Today called the meal “a timeworn Catholic tradition that provides a safe haven from divides that have long roiled the U.S. church, a place where traditionalist Catholics, progressive Catholics and everyone in between can sit peacefully at the same plastic tablecloth.”
