Shots Fired During Auto Theft Friday: Tinley Park Police

TINLEY PARK, IL — A vehicle was stolen Friday evening at 171st and Harlem Avenue in Tinley Park, Tinley Park Police reported.

The victim fired at the offender, police said. A heavy police presence was reported in the area of 167th to 171st streets.

No injuries were reported as of 7:45 p.m., police said.
