Suspect Flees, Hits Squad Car After Attempted Retail Theft: Tinley PD

TINLEY PARK, IL — A Tinley Park officer was not injured Friday afternoon when the suspect in an attempted retail theft crashed into a squad car while fleeing, Tinley Park Police said.

The attempted retail theft took place at Dick's Sporting Goods, 7370 W. 191st St. The suspect fled in a black Chevy Malibu, according to preliminary reports from police. The car was last spotted on I-80, police said.
