T-Bolt Thunder Plunge Makes A Huge Splash For Special Olympics

More than $47,000 donated and counting!

TINLEY PARK, IL — Victor J. Andrew High School made a huge splash for Special Olympics Illinois raising more than $47,000 and counting at their recent Polar Plunge.

Students, staff, and community members jumped in with more than 120 plungers. Andrew High School is in the running and hoping to defend their title for Top School in Illinois. The challenge officially ends March 25.

VJA is currently in the lead, but many schools have not plunged yet. So, plungers are continuing to collect donations. Anyone interested in donating can go to the2025 Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois website.
