Teen Allegedly Rushed First Midwest Amphitheater Gate Twice, Must Have Really Wanted to See Jimmy Buffett
The young man was detained by security and didn't get to see Jimmy Buffett after all.

A Hickory Hills teen in a floral shirt (of course) twice tried to bull his way past First Midwest Amphitheatre security in an ill-fated bid to see Jimmy Buffett in concert, police said.
A Tinley Park police officer at the June 27 Jimmy Buffett show reportedly “assisted First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre security personnel with a subject who was rushing gate #6, physically.”
The first attempt by the young man, identified as 19-year-old Kyle Swanson, ended in failure when he was “stopped by a security member and (he) retreated into the parking lot out of sight,” police said.

Despite this setback, Swanson apparently remained determined to make it into the show. But the teen, clad in a flowered shirt and khaki shorts, somehow failed to blend into the crowd, and the officer reportedly spotted him “rush gate #6 for a second time.”
The officer then “assisted security personnel and detained (Swanson) with handcuffs as he was escorted to the security office at gate #2.”

Swanson was ticketed for trespassing and “remained in the security office until he was picked up by his father,” police said.
