Teen Ejected From Jimmy Buffett Concert Smashed Van Window With (Parrot) Head: Cops
The teen's intoxicated mom claimed she was a state trooper but was really lying, police said.

A drunken Chicago teen scuffled with security and smashed a van window with his head after he was thrown out of the Jimmy Buffett concert at First Midwest Amphitheatre, police said.
David Kasper, 18, had tried to smuggle a water bottle containing a “brown liquid” into the show, police said.
A security guard confiscated the bottle and escorted the intoxicated minor out, police said. Kasper allegedly scuffled with the guard and then his mother, 39-year-old Christie Dostal, reportedly inserted herself into the situation.

“As this was happening an older female (Christie) said, ‘I’m his mom and I’m a state trooper,’” a police report said.
A security guard reportedly expressed his doubts that Dostal was actually a state trooper, “to which Christie told him that she works in the ‘crime lab.’”

Dostal, who like her son was “noticeably intoxicated,” claimed she had been injured by a security guard, police said. She also reportedly told Kasper, “You need to get out of here. You’re embarrassing me.”
Things then went from bad to worse for Kasper, police said, as another officer was sent to check out a report of a man who “had used his head to break out the rear window of a van in the parking lot.”
“I was also met by two subjects who were extremely upset and yelling and screaming,” the officer said, according to a police report.
Those two subjects were Dostal and her husband, police said, and they explained that Kasper was “upset because he and his family were ejected from the theater.”
“They stated that while walking through the parking lot Kasper became more agitated and upset and then used his head to break the rear window of a vehicle in the parking lot,” police said. “They also advised Kasper had been drinking alcohol tonight.”
The law tracked Kasper down and took him into custody. He was charged with criminal damage to property.
