Tinley Couple 'Panicked and Alarmed' by Minooka Man's 'Swearing, Yelling and Throwing Beer on Their Porch': Police
The Minooka man was charged with disorderly conduct.

A Minooka man “panicked and alarmed” his brother’s neighbors by “swearing, yelling and throwing beer on their porch,” police said.
Thomas Bartz, 38, was charged with disorderly conduct in connection with the Nov. 15 incident.
Bartz’s brother, 34-year-old Timothy Bartz, has been involved in an “ongoing disagreement … for several years” with two of his neighbors on 162nd Place in Tinley Park, police said. Thomas Bartz was visiting his brother when one of the neighbors, 40-year-old Dawn Hale, called the cops.

Hale told the law “her neighbor, Tim Bartz, was outside on his own patio swearing at her and her boyfriend, Jason,” police said. “Dawn also stated that Tim was throwing beer on her patio.”
Two officers headed over to 162nd Place and met with Hale and her boyfriend, Jason West, 40. West reportedly told the officers that after he and Hale got home about 6 p.m., “their neighbor who lives in the condo unit to the north came out onto their porch and began swearing at him through the patio door.”

“Jason stated that the male subject was saying, ‘Come out here and I’ll f--- you up,’” police said. “Jason then observed a male subject throwing beer onto his porch. Jason could not specify whether it was Tim or Thomas who threw the beer.”
An officer then reportedly spoke to the Bartzes.
“Thomas stated that he was on his brother’s porch and was swearing and yelling at his brother,” police said. “Thomas admitted to throwing beer on Jason’s porch, but did not specify why. Thomas denied that any of his comments were directed toward Jason or Dawn.”
Timothy Bartz, for his part, said “he was never outside and made no comments toward his neighbor,” according to police.
Hale and West wanted Thomas Bartz charged with disorderly conduct “based on the fact that he was swearing, yelling and throwing beer on their porch which caused them to be panicked and alarmed,” police said, so the cops charged Thomas Bartz with disorderly conduct.
