Tinley Lawyer Jammed Up With Disciplinary Board For Alleged Drunken Scuffle At 'Adult Merchandise' Store
The Tinley Park lawyer was a Cook County prosecutor at the time of the alleged incident.

A Tinley Park lawyer’s alleged drunken escapades at a lingerie and “adult merchandise” store have her jammed up with the state disciplinary commission.
Sarah Naughton, who was a Cook County prosecutor at the time of the alleged September 2012 incident, faces a complaint from the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission.
According to the commission, Naughton and a “male companion” named Bradley Gould “attended a Chicago Cubs baseball game where they were drinking alcoholic beverages.”

The couple “continued drinking after leaving the game at a local bar and then a restaurant with family and friends,” the complaint says, and they then headed to the “adult merchandise” store Taboo Tabou.
“Shortly after entering Taboo Tabou, (Naughton) and Gould began creating a disturbance by stumbling and speaking in loud voices and were asked by the store manager, Dinah Pineda, to leave the store,” the complaint said.

Naughton then “pulled a badge from her purse and told Pineda ‘you can’t do this to me I’m a State’s Attorney,’” the complaint said.
Naughton and Gould eventually left the adult merchandise store, the complaint said, but a short time later, Naughton “opened the door to Taboo Tabou and poked her head through, while yelling ‘bitches’ at Pineda and another employee. At the same time, (Naughton) and Gould were banging on the glass windows of the store while shouting and making obscene gestures.”
Pineda called a cigar store next-door looking for help and also dialed 911, the complaint said.
When the owner of the cigar store, David Boone, showed up, Naughton flashed her state’s attorney badge at him, the complaint said, and then started swinging.
The cigar man “tried to walk away from her, but (Naughton) fell,” the complaint said. She “got up and then began running down the street, yelling that she had been ‘assaulted.’ At the same time, Gould began videotaping Boone with his cell phone which he positioned directly in front of Boone’s face. The phone hit Boone and Boone hit the phone out of Gould’s hand.
“Gould attempted to hit Boone, but Boone punched him and Gould hit his head on the metal window frame,” the complaint said.
Naughton then “charged at Boone, fell to the ground, grabbed Boone’s leg and bit him, breaking the skin and causing injury to Boone’s knee,” the complaint said. “Several bystanders pulled (Naughton) off of and away from Boone.”
That’s when the cops showed up, handcuffed Naughton and put her in a police sport utility vehicle, the complaint said. Naughton allegedly played the state’s attorney card with the police “at least six times” and called a female officer “a c--t, slut, bitch whore, and dyke,” the complaint said, and topped it off by slapping at her.
Naughton slipped out of her handcuffs and was “kneeling on the floor of the vehicle attempting to vomit,” the complaint said. She was “taken out of the vehicle again and, while sitting on the curb, proceeded to try to make herself throw up while screaming obscenities.”
A video of Naughton’s alleged antics is available on YouTube.
Naughton and Gould were arrested. She was charged with “attempted official misconduct, battery, resisting arrest, criminal trespass to property, assault and disorderly conduct, the complaint said, but after a ”bench trial, Judge Anthony John Calabrese found (her) and Gould not guilty on all charges on April 5, 2013.”
Naughton resigned from the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in April 2013 but still holds a law license, the complaint said. According to the IARDC, she has a registered business address on 194th Street in Tinley Park but no associated business telephone number.
