Tinley Park Cancels Summer Events During Coronavirus Pandemic

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions on large gatherings put in place as part of the “Restore Illinois” plan, several events in Tinley Park have been cancelled.

The Tinley Park Park District’s annual Fourth of July celebration and fireworks show has been cancelled, as has the Village’s Downtown Tinley Block Party along Oak Park Avenue. Additionally, all Music in the Plaza concerts for June and July have been cancelled.

The Village will reassess future events based on which phase the state is in when those events grow nearer. Visit TinleyPark.org/SpecialEvents for more information.
