Tinley Park dentist elected to board of Chicago Dental Society

Peggy Richardson, DDS, MS, a general dentist who practices in Tinley Park, was elected to the board of the Chicago Dental Society

Peggy Richardson, DDS, MS, a general dentist who practices in Tinley Park, was elected to the board of the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Richardson was installed as a board member at a ceremony held on Sunday, November 6, at the Ritz Carlton Chicago. She will serve a three-year term representing the Englewood Branch as director.

The Chicago Dental Society, which was established in 1864, has more than 4,400 members in Cook, Lake and DuPage counties, making it the largest local society of the American Dental Association and Illinois State Dental Society. The Chicago Dental Society, the respected leader in scientific dental meetings, will be hosting its 152nd Midwinter Meeting February 23-25, 2017 at the McCormick Place West.

Dr. Richardson earned her dental degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. She holds a BS degree in Dental Hygiene from Loyola University and an MS degree in Oral Science from University of Illinois at Chicago. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the International Association for Dental Research.

Dr. Richardson resides in Oak Lawn and is an avid volunteer dentist for Illinois events like the Mission of Mercy and Remote Area Medical.
