Tinley Park Drama Club and Band to Present 'Grease'
Performances will be April 27, 28 & 29 at Tinley Park High School

Grease is the word! Celebrate its 40th anniversary as Tinley Park High School Drama Club & Band proudly present Grease on Friday, April 27 at 7:00; Saturday, on April 28 at 2:00 and 7:00; and on Sunday, April 29 at 2:00. Greaser Danny Zuko and new girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the romance of their “Summer Nights” as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as “Greased Lightnin’,” “Freddy, My Love,” “Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee,” “We Go Together,” “Born to Hand-Jive,” “Beauty School Dropout,” and much more.
Grease is directed by Drama Club sponsor Ms. Melissa Heniff and stars Patricio Aranda as Danny Zuko, Kaelyn Ward as Sandy Dumbrowski, Karina O’Harrow as Betty Rizzo, Shannon Davis as Frenchy, Piper Jones as Marty, Leela Ruffin as Jan, Brooke Lauer as Doody, Mark Ogarek as Kinickie, Mahliyah Chelikas as Sonny Latierri, Rylee Youpel as Roger, Nicholas Balley as Vince Fontaine, Makenna Szot as Cha-Cha (Charlene DiGregorio), Jeremy Uy as Eugene Florczyk, Preston Burns as Johnny Casino, Shannon Drabek as Miss Lynch, Genesis Abril Aranda as Patty Simcox, and Meaghan Daugherty as Teen Angel. The following students make up the ensemble: Natalie Cuadrado, Leah McClure, Madison McLaughlin, Alisha O’Harrow, Corri Rogan, and Angelina Shervino. The stage manager is Nicholas Ballay, assistant stage manager is Alexa Fortu, and production managers are T.J. Minarik and Hailey Piorek.
The musical portion of the production is directed by Mr. Vince Aiello with assistant director Leonardo Aranda. Student band members include: Pianist Sean Ford, Saxophonists Matthew Hendricks and Lynn Stevenson, Drummer Kevin Brueggemann, Guitaris Robbie Spence, and bassist Jacob Bird.

Tickets are $10 for students; $12 for adults at the door.
