The Concerned Citizens for Tinley Park slate, led by Trustee Jacob Vandenberg, swept the Tinley Park election Tuesday night.

TINLEY PARK, IL - Trustee Jacob Vandenberg was elected mayor of Tinley Park Tuesday night, ousting incumbent Mayor Dave Seaman.

Vandenberg, who received nearly 2,000 more votes than Seaman according to unofficial results from Cook County and Will County, led the Concerned Citizens for Tinley Park party. The party swept the election as the slate's three trustee candidates and clerk candidate were elected as well.
