Tinley Park HS Varsity Titan Dance Team Advances To State Finals, Will Perform Friday
The Tinley Park High School Titan Dance team has moved on to IHSA Competitive Dance State Finals for the first time in seven years.

TINLEY PARK, IL — For the first time since 2019, Tinley Park High School's Varsity Titan Dance Team has qualified for IHSA State Finals, with the competition set for Jan. 30–31.
Coached by Katelyn Knoll and Rebecca Roark, the team performs Friday at Grossingers Motor Arena in Bloomington, Illinois. The Titans are the first performance for the 1A division, going on at 10:15 a.m., Roark said.
The Varsity dance team has prepared a routine to "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John. The dance symbolizes love, emotional closeness and sense of belonging, which they highlight throughout the routine.

The team consists of six seniors. One will pursue dance in college; two will teach dance after high school, Roark said.
