Tinley Park Names New Fire Chief

Forest F. Reeder Jr., a 38-year fire veteran, will replace Kenneth Dunn as chief of the Tinley Park Fire Department.

TINLEY PARK, IL - The village of Tinley Park has named Forest F. Reeder Jr. as its next fire chief.

Reeder has nearly four decades of fire service experience and is the current division chief for the Des Plaines Fire Department, according to a news release from the village. He will start in his new role in Tinley Park on April 10.

“Forest brings a wealth of experience to this job,” Trustee T.J. Grady, chairman of the village’s Public Safety Committee, said. “I’m confident he’ll be a great fit for both the fire department and the village as a whole.”
