Tinley Park Police Seek Information on Robbery
The robbery took place Tuesday afternoon.
Tinley Park Police are asking for the public’s help after an elderly man was robbed outside a bank Tuesday. The man was robbed of an envelope containing personal papers at PNC Bank, 7151 W. 159th St., Tinley Park.
Police said the man was walking into the bank when he was approached by another man, who grabbed an envelope the elderly man was carrying before fleeing in a silver-colored sedan driven by another person.
The Tinley Park Police Department is investigating the robbery. Those with information are urged to call the department at (708) 444-5300.
