Tinley Park Stars & Stripes 5K Results Are In
The results from the 2017 Stars & Stripes 5K in Tinley Park have been posted.
TINLEY PARK, IL -- The results of the 2017 Stars & Stripes 5K held on the Fourth of July in Tinley Park are in and available to view online through RunSignUp.com. The race is an annual holiday tradition in Tinley Park with its start and finish located within McCarthy Park.
The first to cross the finish line was Matthew Gagen, a 21-year-old from Lemont, with a chip time of 17:01.8. He was followed by Fredric Nielsen (17:07.9) and Jacek Walasik (17:45).
Samantha Maciaga, a 26-year-old from Tinley Park, was the first woman to finish the race b clocking in at 19:29.9.

Alexis Landgrebe, a 34-year-old from Tinley Park, was next at 21:30.4. The next overall female was Kim Christensen, 25, Orland Park with a time of 21:34.
