A Tinley Park woman’s White Sox mailbox was destroyed twice in the last month.

The 72-year-old woman told police about the mailbox mayhem Friday. She suspects anti-White Sox sentiment may be at the root of the vandalism.

The woman “states this is the second time within a month her mailbox has been knocked down,” police said. She “believes the mailbox is targeted because of the sports team representation.”
