Tinley Park's 125th Anniversary Celebration Is Sunday

TINLEY PARK, IL -- The village of Tinley Park will celebrate its 125th birthday with its annual block party on Sunday. The party will take place along Oak Forest Avenue from 171st Street to Hickory Street from noon to 7 p.m., according to a Downtown Tinley Facebook post.

The event will include performances from several bands including the Gina Glocksen Band, Bella Cain, Midnight and the Blooze Brothers. A "Battle of the Bands" competition will be held on two stages from 2-4 p.m.

The party will also feature family entertainment, such as a bean bag tournament, KidZone activities and classic car show.
