TINLEY PARK, IL — Several people helped with delivery day for Tinley Wish this year, bringing holiday joy into the lives of seven Tinley Park families who are facing difficult situations. The non-profit organization is entering its 25th year of helping local families in need.

Donated presents were wrapped earlier this month at the Tinley Park Police Department. Police and fire vehicles then delivered the presents to the families on Dec. 14.

"Our delivery this year was as incredible as always," Jessica Waishwell said. "It is still such a beautiful and powerful thing when you see the community come together to brighten the day of strangers who are facing seemingly impossible situations."
