Tree Lighting At Zabrocki Plaza Set For Dec. 6

Lights will be switched on a 35-foot community tree in Tinley Park.

TINLEY PARK, IL — The lights will go on for the holiday season in Tinley Park on Friday, Dec. 6, when the community tree-lighting ceremony is planned for Zabrocki Plaza in downtown Tinley Park. Village officials will light a 35-foot community holiday tree around 6:15 p.m., according to the village of Tinley Park.

Residents are encouraged to come early, around 5:30 p.m., for a holiday music sing-a-long.

The tree lighting will take place on the first day of the village's holiday market, which goes from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Oak Park Avenue train station.
