Minivan Crashes Into Garage After Chase; 4 Arrested
The pursuit began Thursday morning when Tinley Park police tried to pull over a suspicious vehicle near 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue.

TINLEY PARK, IL — A chase between a minivan and police officers ended in a crash into a Tinley Park garage Thursday morning, and the vehicle pursuit turned into a foot chase, according to ABC 7 Chicago. Four people eventually were arrested following the incident, the report stated. No one was injured, the report added.
The initial chase began at around 5:25 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, near Harlem Avenue and 183rd Street when police tried to pull over a suspicious white Dodge minivan, the report stated. Officers pursued the minivan until it slammed into a garage in the 18000 block of 66th Avenue, the report added.
Police apprehended one suspect immediately following the accident, the report stated. Three other suspects were taken into custody just after 7 a.m. near the Tinley Park Convention Center, the report added.

Officers are still investigating the incident. Details were not given about why police originally tried to stop the minivan.
