Village’s Annual Irish Parade Returns March 8 In Downtown Tinley
It's nearly time once again for the Village's annual Irish Parade, which will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 8 along Oak Park Avenue.
It’s nearly time once again for the Village’s annual Irish Parade, which will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 8 along Oak Park Avenue in Downtown Tinley.
The parade, led by Grand Marshal Steve Dolinsky, host of the “Hungry Hound” series on ABC7, will step off from Central Middle School and march north down Oak Park Avenue to 171st Street. Dozens of floats, community groups, local schools and businesses will show the spirit of St. Patrick's Day with colorful attire and lively music. The viewing area for the parade will be from 179th to 172nd streets.

Those interested in participating in the parade can download and submit the Irish Parade Entry Form, available at TinleyPark.org/SpecialEvents. Entries are due Feb. 24 or whenever the Village reaches its maximum number of participants.
