Woman, 36, Dies After Medical Emergency At Tinley Park LA Fitness: ME

First responders were on the scene at 184th and Convention Center Drive Tuesday evening for a woman experiencing a medical emergency.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park paramedics and police were called to LA Fitness Tuesday night, for a medical emergency that resulted in a woman's death, according to call logs.

Police were called at 7:07 p.m. for a report of a woman in full arrest at the fitness center, 18400 Convention Center Dr., call logs show. Full arrest is diagnosed as a patient being pulseless, unresponsive, and not breathing.

A 36-year-old Sauk Village woman at the gym was taken to South Suburban Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased at 7:45 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

A cause of death was not immediately provided. An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday.

Patch is not naming the woman to respect her privacy.
