Woman Breaks Stained-Glass Windows, Leaves Threatening Note: Cops
Police said the woman had been told before to stay away from her father's house.
TINLEY PARK, IL — A Tinley Park woman is accused of breaking into a house where she damaged some stained-glass windows. Shawn Siemsen, 56, appeared before Cook County Judge John Mahoney on a felony charge of criminal trespassing. Siemsen was also charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespassing.
According to the charges, Siemsen had been issued a criminal trespass warning at her father’s home in the 17700 block of 67th Court in Tinley Park. Sometime between 5:30 and 8:45 p.m. April 11, the prosecutor said Siemsen broke into her father's house where she damaged a coffee pot and some handmade stained-glass windows. She is also accused of leaving a life-threatening note. The prosecutor said Siemsen was found with a copper mesh typically used to clean pipes used to ingest drugs.
Siemsen has a felony arrest for possession of a controlled substance from 1995. She was also arrested for misdemeanor retail theft, the prosecutor said.

The assistant public defender told the judge that Siemsen is currently house sitting a friend’s cat and has stage 2 stomach cancer. Siemsen said she could continue staying at her friend’s house.
Siemsen was released on a $10,000 I bond. She’s due back in court April 29 in Bridgeview.
