Woman Claims Men Tried To Defraud Her Of $1,200

TINLEY PARK, IL -- An elderly Tinley Park woman says two men tried to defraud her of $1,200 to fix cracks on her driveway. The Daily Southtown reports that the woman agreed to pay the men $325 for the job, but after they returned to complete it after getting more materials they asked for $1,200.

The two sides agreed on a $600 payment and a check was made to an alleged construction company, according to the Southtown.

The woman canceled the check before it was cashed.
