The Tinley Park Public Library will host The Wonders of Our Wetlands on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 10:30 am -1 pm. This program is for children entering grades 1-4 and their families. Enjoy a wetland story and activity indoors, then explore the library's natural areas with a backpack full of gear on loan from the Forest Preserve. Class is offered on a drop-in basis and is intended for kids entering grades 1–4 with parents. The outdoor session will begin at 11 am. Join in for either or both parts of the class. Naturalists from the Cook County Forest Preserve District will guide us on the walk and tell us about the wetlands surrounding the library. No registration required. Phone 708-532-0160 x2.
