VERNON HILLS, IL — Mendocino Farms, a fast-casual restaurant known for sandwiches and salads, is opening its first suburban Chicago location in Vernon Hills.
The restaurant is scheduled to open at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Mellody Farm, 913 N. Milwaukee Ave., in the former SLYCE Coal Fired Pizza space, according to the Daily Herald. The California-based chain, founded in 2005, has nearly 70 locations in California and additional restaurants in several other states.
The Vernon Hills location will join two existing Chicago restaurants in Willis Tower and River North.
